with jesse and celine. two of my most favorite characters in the whole movie world.
the sequel to my all-time favorite movie (which i only saw once! and a vhs copy at that!) just came out to philippine theaters last week.
"before sunrise" came out in 95. i saw it with some of my friends at one of dembuds's house. unfortunately, only one other friend liked it :(
back in 94, i got interested in film for the first time. "before sunrise" convinced me that i really wanted to become a director and make movies like it. watching "before sunset" last week convinced me that, yes, i would still want to make movies like it, and maybe, just maybe, i really want to be a writer. 9 years later.
